Somat Engineering promotes Moideen Mathari, P.E. to Principal Engineer and Corey Switanowski, P.E., LEED AP to Senior Project Engineer.

Moideen Mathari, P.E., a licensed, professional engineer in the State of Michigan with 31 years of experience, is responsible for managing local, state, federal, and international projects.  The projects he manages include buildings, highways, bridges, airports, tunnels, large industrial and medical facilities, sewers, and water mains.  As Principal Engineer, Mr. Mathari will be responsible for quality assurance and internal review of designs and reports, providing consultancy services, training technical resources, allocating staffing resources and leading the planning, design and testing efforts on major infrastructure projects.

Corey Switanowski, P.E., LEED AP, a licensed, professional engineer in the State of Michigan with 10 years of experience, provides geotechnical services for both public and private building and infrastructure design projects.  Her duties include geotechnical subsurface analysis, and design of retaining structures and shallow and deep foundation systems.  Ms. Switanowski will be responsible for oversight of a variety of challenging engineering projects and the technical enhancement and development of junior staff.
